About Ferrante's Cafe
Ferrante’s isn’t just another Italian Restaurant—it’s a story of two families obsessed with food, tradition, and doing things the right way.
Born from a couple’s dream to turn their wedding recipes into a full-blown Spokane institution, Ferrante’s has been dishing out real Italian comfort since 2004.
Owners Robbie and Tony Ferrante still show up, keeping their old-world recipes alive and treating regulars like family.
In a world full of copycat franchises, Ferrante’s is a reminder that quality, care, and a little stubbornness about tradition still matter. Come for the pizza, stay for the people—leave with a new favorite spot.

Wife and I come here often. It's a kind of unique setup with a gift shop up front, counter service style restaurant in back. We love the gelato and also that everything seems made fresh! Some friendly feedback about the gelato today: we got the blueberry and mango with blackberry and feel that the fruit messed up the texture. I think frozen fruit was added straight in and the water content makes the pieces feel like little ice cubes rather than soft and integrated in with the gelato, if that makes sense.

This places sells itself like a high end restaurant. They seat you and give you menus and that is where the high end experience stops. You have to walk to the counter and order and they take your name to call out when it is ready just like fast food. When you order wine you only get a choice on what type of wine you get not what brand. The red blend is awful and for the price not worth it. The Cabernet sovereign is ok but for $10 a glass it leaves you wanting. I asked for a comp for the red blend that tasted like it went bad and was told no. The vodka sauce ravioli was really good. The Monza ravioli was good but the meat was over cooked. They charge high-end prices but don't follow through with the quality. It's my option that if you are going to charge these prices you need to have more choice on the wine menu and actually serve your patrons and ask them things like "how do you want your meat cooked?". I will not be returning and recomend an other Italian place in this price range.

Ordered Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was very overcooked. Difficult to cut. After telling the counter girl. You serve yourself? They call your name. She offered for me to order something else. I didn't. It had been too long since we retrieved our food. She did not however, offer to have my chicken re-cooked. We paid when we ordered at the counter. At that time the machine prompted a tip. Why? You tip accordingly. I went ahead and added a tip. I was not happy about that. When we were leaving she asked if we had already cashed out. I reminded her that she had cashed us out. Idk. Mediocre food and service. I would not go there again. I think when it is that much serve yourself....the tip should be added AFTER you finish your meal.

The young lady at the counter taking orders today is amazing super friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe was very nice decor and very clean. I ordered the loaded pizza for take out and while waiting I looked around and found 2 more things that I bought. Got the pizza and took it to work. I'm in love with their pizza. The crust was thin and crispy with great flavor and the toppings were fresh and delicious and I loved the whole garlic cloves across the pizza. When I was waiting for my pizza the young lady offered me samples of their gelato and it was so good. I'm definitely going back, it's totally worth it.
